Using the v1 widget (Chat Embed
@1.x.x)? Widgets created in the CometChat Dashboard now use v2. Please upgrade to v2. v2 is published on npm under the next tag today; in a future update it will become the default (latest) version and v1 will be marked as legacy. On WordPress the plugin picks the widget version: update to plugin 0.0.15 or later and add version="v2" to your shortcode. A shortcode without version keeps loading v1. Check your custom CSS, JavaScript and variant settings against Upgrade from v1 to v2 before you switch.- Embed chat and calling into any WordPress website

Customization
The Widget Builder controls theme, colors, and typography with no code — set those in its Styles tab. For anything it does not expose, open the Custom Code tab and target the widget’s owncometchat-* component classes with your own Custom CSS (and Custom JS). See Customize the widget with CSS in the Integration guide.
